Day 9 Reveal: Boone County Pot Still Straight Bourbon Whiskey (North America, Bourbon, NAS, 47.4% ABV) – This was the first release from Boone County. 74% Corn, 21% Rye, 5% Malted Barley – I visited Boone County in November and was able to grab these bottles for us to taste. I think it’s a great start for them!
Day 10 Reveal: Benriach 12 Year: From Whiskey Advocate who had this as #3 whisky for 2020 – Benriach is a sleeper of a single malt, but that’s about to change. Part of a 2020 relaunch of its core line, this grabbed our attention with its sophistication, breadth of flavors, and lovely refinement. Much of the credit surely goes to master blender Rachel Barrie for creating a smoky whisky that both peat lovers and the peat-wary can enjoy. Rather than medicinal intensity, the peat is redolent of gentle, sweetly smoky fruits that integrate seamlessly with notes of vanilla, toasted almond, chocolate, blueberry, and bacon. Day 15 Reveal – Cardinal Spirits Bourbon Barrel Proof – Party Source Pick – 5 Year – 55.4% ABV
Day 16 Reveal – Milk & Honey’s Single Malt Whisky from Israel – 3 Years in a Cognac Cask – 58.8% ABV
Day 17 Reveal – Old Pepper Finest Kentucky Oak Rye – Distillery Exclusive – No Age Statement – 54.2% ABV
Day 18 Reveal – Eifel German Peated Rye Whisky – No Age Statement – 46% ABV
Day 19 Reveal – Tipperary Irish Single Malt Whiskey – No Age Statement – 50% ABV

Day 22 Reveal – James Eadie’s Ardmore 10 Year Single Malt Scotch – 60.4% ABV
Day 23 Reveal – Mars Iwai Tradition Japanese Blend Napa Wine Cask Finish – Non Age Statement – 40% ABV
Day 24 Reveal – Woodinville Bourbon finished in Port Casks, Distillery Exclusive, 45% ABV, No Age Statement
