The Saratoga Whisk(e)y Club had Tasting #2 on May 18th, 2016.  The theme for the night was craft distilling in the United States.  We tasted four unique whiskies which included:

  • Smooth Ambler Old Scout 10 year old Bourbon
  • Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Bourbon bottled exclusively for Astor Wines
  • Berkshire Mountain Distillers’ Shay’s Rebellion
  • Westland Single Malt – Cask Strength – bottled exclusively for Astor Wines

Mad River Distillers Visit – April 9, 2016

The Saratoga Whisk(e)y Club went to Vermont for a Saturday night in April and visited with one of the distillers at Mad River Distillers.  We had a great time both visiting with them and hanging out in Waterbury, VT, for the night.  Good food, whiskey, and beer!  Here is a link to The Still Trippers’ blog post on our visit to the distillery:
